Ghost stories that we see in movies are only stories but that can happen in our real world. At the mention of ghost or demons, a chill ran down my spine. And now I am being challenged with the real demonic activity that is haunting the place I am staying now.
Before I begin discussing it, I'd like to relate something about this place. I have only been here for 3 years after the death of my father. It is quite a remote area and only the busy highway in front of the property gives life to this place. It is still surrounded by virgin jungles with a splattering of houses distantly apart. Within the property itself there are few houses which were rented out and I stay in a double storey 14 roomed shophouse where the ground floors housed my present pub and a few half dead businesses started by my father.
Every tenant that lived in the rented houses have experienced some kind of eerie happenings in their homes involving furniture moving, strange noises like the crying of babies and sometimes adults and voices. There was this tenant who woke up early in the morning to find a pool of fresh blood in front of the main entrance. And in my pub sometimes the music can suddenly change to another music when no one is in the DJ room. There are so many other strange happenings that is beyond explanations. The locals here have told me that this place is haunted as it once used to be the Japanese base during the war. So I can understand, maybe they have left their dead buried somewhere in this place.
Now, to be honest, I've never been the bravest person in the world. I'm not a coward in any way, but let's just say I'm the kind of woman who when given the choice between watching a funny movie and a scary one will pick the comedy everytime. I stayed up alone until the wee hours surfing the net and so far I have not met with any supernatural beings but of course I have my rosary around my neck to resit any kind of evil. But sometimes when I have to answer nature's call I can feel my hair stood on ends but have to brave my way to the toilet and run back immediately to my computer.
I listened to all the stories related by my tenants but was extremely skeptical. I've always had a strong suspicious streak in me, especially when it comes to reports of "supernatural' occurrences. What would you do if you happen to live in a haunted place? Chicken out?
I guess really ghosts are a figment of my own mind. Sometimes, I could swear I can see somebody out of the corner of my eye, but when I look there is nothing there. I have met people who say that ghosts have appeared to them and that they have even heard them speak, but this has never happened to me. I would like it to happen, but until it does, I can't believe that they exist, but will hold an open mind. _Derek

ReplyDeleteIt seems the house is haunted and spirits live there, all spirits or ghosts are not bad, in india there are places where one can see men and women under the cluth of spirits, and how they get rid off from them. Well i have felt the presence of such ghosts etc in our backyard, there are trees, they probably live there..

that is a scary story, if i happen to live in a haunted house that would be a suicide to me. i would never even enter in that kind of house even in my wildest dream. i have lots of experience here in our house, well our house is not a haunted house but i can say that aside from us there is someone living in also. i even had an experience when i was chatting to a friend online in the middle of the night, when i open my cam i saw someone standing at my back facing the computer. scares me to death i was not able to move i just keep looking back and forth i saw someone in my cam but no one at my back. i shutdown the computer and off to bed. our house is a small one, but to live in the house you have now, is a suicide to me. good luck to you and have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteWell, when I was young, I easily believe the stories of my old folks and friends about ghosts and other such things. Now that I have Christ in my heart, I don't worry about them because they don't have power over me. My bible tells me that the Holy Spirit that is within me is powerful than the demons and satan that is in the world. For unbelievers, they can be possessed by demons. Ghosts are demons who are the followers of satan. They can transform themselves like a ghost to scare people.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. What I do know is that strong emotions just like strong odors can leave traces for a very long time. It sounds like there might have been a good bit of sorrow and other negative emotions in your location. I have lived in a haunted place but never evil. What settled that place down was my asking for it to leave. You can try that, just ask for protection from your guardian and then ask the evil to leave. If you can't believe in a guardian just think of it as a part of your mind. There are energy fields in Mother earth and there may be one that runs in your area, that often explains unknown movement and other wierd happenings. Even if you don't believe try to find someone local who has dealt

hi zandi I am sure the pool of fresh blood was probably a sick prank by one of the tenants, as ghosts have no blood but they could have some poltergeists playing around intheir homes,opening drawers, and slamming doors when there is no wind. these things have been documented. I saw a ghost just once and that was enough. this landlady was trying to sell us on this apartment. we had our dog with us. he sat on a rug in the center of the living room, and suddenely stiffened and his tail went straight out behind him, then he howled, and I s aw her she was dressed in a long white night gown, and had a dark splotch on her chest, sheheld her arm across it, then in another instant she was gone. all her of us saw her and the landlady almost fainted,then she admitted that the last tenant had been murdered by her husband and stabbed in the chest, and bled to death before she was found . her husband was found and jailed for her murder. the rug hid a big splotch of blood. and had not yet been cleaned. we did not of course rent that apartment.
ReplyDeleteAs always, a very interesting and thought provoking discussion from a darling lady... And how do I respond??? I Believe!!!!!!!! I often though wonder why we call them ghosts? What we see as "ghosts" we Know to be the "spirits" of a soul allowed for reasons we may not yet know, to wander amongst the living. I believe that some are souls that have not yet finished a task or walk in our world and must do so to cross over. Some are here to comfort or guide a loved one or someone in need. What ever the reason, be they good or bad... THEY DO EXIST!
ReplyDeleteWhen My Sheila went to heaven, her presence remained here.I would feel the bed sink in and think it was one of my cats. When I would look to where the bed had moved a bit, I found no cat and then Knew it was my Sheila come to comfort me. I would smile and fall asleep talking to her. Sleep was near impossible when she went to heaven except the nights she visited me. After 4 years, it is only when I have a serious issue that is causing me sadness that she comes to me.
AS one more to show you they exist... At her memorial, we chose a song that she had not asked for to be played. On the tape was the song we wanted and other songs thatshe and i had recorded of our kids singing. when four tiimes we tried to play the song we wanted, the tape would somehow skip back to one of her favorite songs that she loved to hear the kids sing. After the fourth attempt, I sttod in front of all the people and laughed and smiled. I said to them "Forget it, Sheila doesn't want the song played and she is Not going to allow it. Let us just move on." And we did without incident. Trust me, They are real.
